Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone! MDW has always marked the start of summer. It is surprisingly one of the few holidays I don’t have a standing tradition for, weather in New England can be so unpredictable that it never makes sense to plan a beach weekend to far in advance. This year I’ll be keeping things low key and just hanging around Boston for the weekend spending time with family and friends. Memorial Day is great for a lot of things, trips to the beach, cookouts, big sales. But lets not forget what this holiday is all about; celebrating the men and women who have died fighting for our country. Thank you to our service men and women and their families.
Last week I attended a Lilly Pulitzer summer kick-off party. The view was gorgeous and the Lilly party was so much fun! This is one of my favorite Lilly dresses I bought at the end of last summer. I love the starfish print and the colors. Very appropriate for Memorial Day Weekend. I hope you all have a great long weekend! Its going to be rainy across New England but I know that won’t stop you all from having a good time! What are everyone’s plans?
