Where to Eat on the Cape this Summer

Covid restrictions have been lifted and it is expected to be a banner year on the Cape. Rentals are all booked up, restaurants have hour long wait lists, and you better get to the beach early to get a parking spot.

The past year many businesses took a hit from stay at home orders, reduced tourism, limited capacity rules and so on. If you’re planning to spend some of your summer vacation on the Cape be sure to check out some of my favorite restaurants on Cape Cod to grab a bite to eat:

Captain Baker Donuts – West Dennis

Amazing donuts as the name suggests and they also have excellent breakfast sandwiches if you’re craving a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on an everything bagel. Best place to eat on cape cod

Nauset Farms – Orleans

Finally planning a get together with your nearest and dearest? Stop by and pick up some fresh flowers and all the fixings for a charcuterie board.

Sesuit Harbor Cafe – Dennis

Trust me their lobster roll is worth waiting in line for! This adorable waterfront cafe is tucked into the marina. They have all the seafood classics and a fantastic raw bar.

Cape Cod Restaurants

Good Friends Cafe – Dennis

If you’re looking for a good breakfast spot that feels like home this is it. Fun fact if your name is on the chalk board your coffee is free that day. Try an omelette and the home made bread. Pro-tip they’re cash only so be sure to take some cash out of the ATM before you go.

Brax Landing – Harwich

Gorgeous waterfront views this is the perfect place to bring your friends for a delicious dinner. Don’t worry if there is a long wait you can enjoy a drink on the back patio. Harwichport Restaurants

Captain Parker’s Pub – Yarmouth

This place has been here for decades and there is a reason! The clam chowder is the best around. The recently added some patio space with an adorable fire pit.

Keltic Kitchen – Yarmouth

Another fantastic breakfast spot, we’ve been going here since I was little. The Irish family that owns the place sure knows how to do a classic breakfast, I always get a side of home fries! They even have a cute gift shop out back so you can bring some of their specialties home. My mom always picks up a few meat pies.

No matter where you decide to eat on the cape this year be sure to be kind and patient as many are working hard to ramp back up to 100% capacity and tip your servers well! Want more ideas for your New England summer getaway? Check out my guide to the Best Air BnB’s in New England.
