Pour the wine! It has been such a rainy cloudy week on the cape. It’s such a bummer when you go to the beach for the week and can’t go to the beach. Its been rainy and cold, I have spent most the time in jeans and a sweater.
Although I would ideally spend every moment on the Cape at the beach there is tons to do on those rainy days. This week I went to Truro Vineyards for the day, I did a tasting hung out on the lawn and strolled around the grounds. It is so beautiful there even if its a bit cloudy. My favorite wine is the Diamond White, it is very sweet but crisp. It is the perfect wine to sip while sitting outside on a beautiful summer afternoon. Truro has a bar out of their lawn, they bring in a food truck and they even have corn hole!
It is the perfect day trip if you are looking to head for the cape for just a day, and if you’re down the cape and get a rainy day the wine makes it better I promise!
