Last week I headed up to Portland to celebrate the launch of L.L. Bean’s small batch Bean Boots! The event was held at the O’Maine Studio a fabulous event space right in downtown Portland. The L.L. Bean team did an amazing job, walking in was like being transported to a Fall wonderland! Along with checking out the new small batch Bean Boots, we sampled beer from localPortland breweries. I tend to favor wine but I was super impressed by some of the beers!
My favorite was the Orono Brewing CO’s IPA. The Fog Town Pale Ale was also nice and refreshing. There were lobster rolls, my personal favorite, tacos, and s’mores! Portland has an amazing food scene and tons of fantastic microbreweries! Mike and I were in Portland last month for a friends wedding and I was so excited to get back there to explore more.
L.L. Bean has always been one of my favorite brands. Every time Mike and I are driving up to his cabin in Maine we stop at the Freeport flagship store and I can never resist buying something new! L.L. Bean is my go to place for outdoor gear and their signature line has adorable sweaters for fall. My Bean Boots have been a wardrobe staple for years, last year I got a pair of blue ones and I was excited to get a pair of the new plaid shearling lined small batch boots.
