A New Chapter

I took my last final today. I can’t believe how fast this semester went I feel like Christmas was just last week. Spring semester in Boston can be kind of miserable it’s cold, snowy, and rainy basically until finals and even this week has been a little chilly. Even though I feel like this semester flew by I find myself looking back on all that has happened. I have accomplished so much this year and I have met so many amazing people. I finally took the plunge, I quit my retail job and started pursuing my career.

I got hired on as social media manager for a local non profit. I am so excited about the work I’m doing and am excited to make a real difference in the Boston community. Especially in college I think people get so caught up in making money that they miss out on opportunities to do something they’re passionate about. But having spent the last few months working on project that excite me and with people who inspire me I think we should all take that step and open the next chapter free of fear!

I’m so happy the semesters over and I’m so happy I can finally pull out some spring clothes. This out fit was in my mind for a while and I was just waiting until it was warm enough. I got so many compliments at the office the day I wore it, the skirt is from vineyard vines fall line but it’s so versatile year round! I hope you all have a great end of the semester. For those of you graduating I heard this quote once, I have no idea where it came from but it definitely resonated: “It may be a small world after all, but never forget to stop and appreciate the enormity of it all”.
