The Mountain InnThe Mountain Inn Killington

Our favorite spot to stay in Killington! The Mountain Inn is the perfect spot to call home after a long day on the slopes. Located just seconds from the Killington Resort Snowshed Lodge, The Mountain Inn shuttle will drop you off and pick you up so you don’t have to worry about driving, parking, or lugging your gear back and forth. When you get back to The Mountain Inn you can conveniently store your gear in the provided ski lockers, then get the après started by having a drink at the Killington Distillery – Still On The Mountain, located right on site. All their cocktails are made with spirits distilled right on site, make sure to try their farm to table menu.

In addition to all The Mountain Inn offers for skiers and après skiers, they have an outdoor heated pool, a co-working space, fitness center, game room, and offer an excellent free breakfast for guests. Your four-legged family member can join for a small pet fee, just be sure to include them on your reservation. The rooms are well acquainted, but it is really the hotel amenities and excellent service from the team that makes this place worth the price! Be sure to checkout the discounts they offer for Ikon Pass holders.

We give The Mountain Inn an 8.75/10, explore and book here.

The Killington Grand HotelThe Killington Grand Hotel

Situated at the base of the mountain, The Killington Grand Hotel is the only “ski-in, ski-out” hotel option in Killington. Throughout winter guests can access the slopes at Snowshed with the convenient ski-bridge. To reach other parts of the mountain like the K1 Lodge or Rams Head Lodge the hotel offers a shuttle bus for guests. The hotel features upscale rooms with panoramic mountain views, many rooms include a kitchenette so guests can cook or they can order room service! Other on-site amenities include a fitness center, spa, and several dining options.

Killington Mountain LodgeKillington hotels

Killington Mountain Lodge a part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a little further away from the mountain but it is a bit closer to some great restaurants like Yama Ramen and après spots like Lookout Tavern. The onsite restaurant serves breakfast but they don’t have any onsite dining options for lunch or dinner and there is no onsite bar for après. They have ski lockers to store your gear on a first come first serve basis, but the locker room is not heated so make sure you bring your boots inside to dry off and warm up over night. The hotel does allow pets for a fee and they have a 24-hour fitness center. Currently their pool is listed as closed but they typically have an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, we recommend confirming before booking.  There is onsite parking, but there is no shuttle to the mountain so you will have to drive to and from each day. We stayed here last year and honestly had a good, no frills stay.

We give Killington Mountain Lodge 5.5/10, explore and book here.

Snowed InnBest Hotels in Killington

Snowed Inn is a charming bed and breakfast that exudes warmth and hospitality. Perfect for a romantic couples getaway, this hotel definitely gives a quite relaxing après vibe vs the rody après vibe you might find at some bars. Think cheese board by the fire vs beers and a DJ. It is located just a short drive the ski lifts and a short walk to lots of restaurants, the Snowed Inn offers a homey atmosphere with individually decorated rooms.

Guests can relax in the outdoor hot tub, surrounded by snow-covered trees, or enjoy the cozy common areas with fireplaces. They unfortunately are not pet friendly and do not have an onsite fitness center. But breakfast is included and is a major highlight at Snowed Inn, featuring homemade treats and a variety of options to fuel your day on the slopes. When you’re done skiing for the day grab a drink at the on-site wine bar! Pro-tip if you book directly through Snowed Inn you can get discounted lift tickets.

We give the Snowed Inn a 7.5/10, explore and book here.

Unfortunately they are not pet friendly and do not have an onsite fitness center.
