Boston October

If you live in Boston and are on Instagram I bet you have seen this doorway  so cute right? If you haven’t figured it out it is on Malborough Street #356. I always feel like Malborough Streets gets over looked in favor or Newbury, Comm Ave, or Beacon Street. But I personally think Malborough Street is the prettiests streets in Back Bay. I love October in Boston, people get really into autumn displays. If you wait another week or two people will get in the Halloween spirit and you can see some pretty impressive displays. I love strolling on Malborough Street the week or Halloween. And of course you have to talk a walk through Beacon Hill. Some people go all out for Halloween in Beacon Hill. Be sure to stop by the public gardens to see some city foliage too!

Strolling into November

Some people love Halloween, they love getting dressed up, eating candy, watching spooky movies. I’m just not one of those people, I like Halloween okay but it isn’t my favorite. October may be the prettiest month of the year but November is definitely my favorite. For starters my birthday is this month, I’m going to be 22. I remember when I was 16 and I decided that 22 was old enough and I would stop aging at 22. As old as middle schoolers make me feel I still feel so young. There are still so many things I want to accomplish in life and 22 is just the beginning. November also means it is time for Thanksgiving, time to eat turkey, mashed potatoes, corn and stuffing! I am excited for the next month and I hope you are too.

Grand Finale

“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as is nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale” -Lauren DeStefano
One of my favorite quotes! Best thing about fall in New England is that there isn’t just one peak weekend. There is a peak in northern Maine, New Hampshire, Boston, and southern Connecticut and Rhodes Island! If you’re willing to drive you can catch a couple of really great shows! We just about reached peak in Boston and it sure is beautiful! Took a stroll around Beacon Hill and the Public Gardens and stopped in at Tatte bakery for lunch.

Peeping Leaves and History

National Parks are often over looked, but they’re pretty awesome! For starters they’re FREE! And beautiful! Especially in this gorgeous season when the world turns gold for us. I visited the Minuteman National Historical Park this weekend to check out the foliage and all the adorable old farm houses that still stand in the park. There are great walking trails and plenty to see! Two visitor centers at either end of the trail, I recommend parking at the North Bridge Visitors Center, there is plenty to see from a gorgeous colonial house with a patio overlooking the Concord River and then you can walk down to North Bridge! I started at the Minute Man Visitors Center at the other end and saw the Jacob Whittemore House and then drove down Marrett Road stopping at the various attractions in the park, there are plenty of FREE parking lots along Marrett Road! Such a great day I definitely recommend you go visit before the foliage is gone!
