Sail to Sable by the Shore

Stripes and summer go hand in hand. I can’t even count how many navy and white striped items hang in my closet. But I love this Sail to Sable striped dress, it is perfect for everyday wear and will definitely be making an appearance on the 4th of July.

Me and the girls took a fabulous trip down to Watch Hill Rhode Island last week, we explored the charming little town, visited the Ocean House, and the Watch Hill Light House. The original light house was built in 1745 and after it was destroyed in a storm President Thomas Jefferson signed an order for it to be rebuilt in 1806. One of the things I love about New England is everywhere you go, every site you visit has a history. What you look at may be a restoration, a rebuild, or a redesign. But they always retain their New England charm, they are classics.

Might be why I love this preppy nautical dress, it is a classic. It will never go out of style, I will pull it out of my closet every season happy to see that it has stood the test of time.
