The Ultimate Holiday Guide to Boston

There are so many fun things to do in Boston around the Holidays. This year Thanksgiving is late so the Holidays are going to go by in a flash! Be sure to get tickets now and schedule in the Must-Do’s.

BYOB Trolley Lights Tour! This is so fun, it always, always sells out. Many dates are already completely booked so if you want to do it I suggest you book tickets ASAP. Its BYOB so pack some festive holiday drinks, toss on an ugly Christmas sweater and enjoy.

Black Nativity! This event is a Boston Staple, its called a “theatrical wonderment”  on their website and trust me it really lives up to the hype. It only runs on the weekends so reserve a night to go and see it, trust me you’ll want to go back year after year.

Boston Ballet The Nutcracker! Probably the most obvious, and for a reason, the Boston Ballet’s annual performance of The Nutcracker is spectacular! I have almost every other year and every time I go I enjoy it. Get dressed up, have a glass or Prosecco and enjoy!

Skating at Frog Pond! Before you know it there will be snow on the ground. Skating at Frog Pond is a nice way to enjoy sometime outside despite the cold. Once the Common’s Christmas tree and holiday lights are up it is truly magical.

Slutcracker! If you’re looking for a fun night out with you S.O. or your friends look no further than The Slutcracker. What is the Sluthcracker you may ask, well Choreographer/Director Vanessa White used to dance The Nutcracker at a big ballet company, but was told she was “too big” to keep dancing for them, so she started The Slutcracker!  A parody or the original ballet this burlesque version is 18+ and is general admission so get there early.

Holiday Tea at The Boston Public Library! Looking for something quiet to do, maybe with a parent, older family member? The Holiday Tea at the Library is fantastic! It’s super easy to make reservations on their website and they even have a special holiday menu.

And there you have it! A booked solid Holiday season in Boston! Really there is so much to do and see during the holidays but these are my top priorities every year. So many years I have had trouble getting into the Holiday spirit but after attending just one of these event you will find yourself humming Christmas carols on the T.
