It is rainy and cold as I sit here writing this but I am dreaming of sunny days. When we can all sit out on a patio and have brunch, stroll around downtown Nantucket, and enjoy the Spring blooms. To pass the time I find myself shopping for spring and summer classics. As my style has evolved over the years, I have filled my closet with classics and staples that I can wear year after year.
As much as I love to indulge in items I know will only be worn to one party or a trendy piece that will go out of style next season. But today I am rounding up some of the best spring and summer classics that I know you will be able to keep in your closet for years to come.

One of my all time favorite Lilly dresses! The Valli can be dressed up and worn to a wedding, out for cocktails, or on a tropical getaway. I have it in the navy and white and I get so much use out of both of them. This classic dress is perfect for spring and summer!

Everyone needs a classic white shift dress in their closet! I took this dress on a recent trip to Palm Beach and it was a hit. Perfect for bridal showers, graduations, or any spring party.
