Hi, I’m Katie! When I was 18 I decided to go to college in DC leaving my hometown of Boston. As a freshmen I felt very homesick and lonely, I had a lot of trouble adjusting to life in DC. I found myself identifying more and more with Boston and New England. As a creative outlet I launched an Instagram account all about New England Lifestyle and Preppy Fashion to make me feel more connected to home. I became Katie from Boston. Now that Instagram account has blossomed into a blog and I am excited to be living and working in Boston again. I am proud of where I am from and just want to share that with people all over because I know how it feels to miss home.
